When Brian got home from work the boys and I surprised him with a Star Wars birthday party. We had to have dessert first due to Brian blowing out the candles that were in a punch bowl cake. The boys and I had so much fun surprising him. After dinner we loaded up the boys and went to the new Bass Pro Shop. Brian had fun looking (and wishing) for many of the "toys" that he would love to purchase. He realized why I like shopping by myself!
By now most of you know that Zeke is our laid back kid. We could not believe when he had a total melt down while visiting Santa. We laughed so hard. Here is Ike smiling and loving on Santa and here is Zeke doing the "all done" sign and screaming his head off! I love fun family memories!!!

As many of you know it is Ike's birthday today. We celebrated his birthday at my sisters gym (NXS Tumbling). We had so much fun with our friends and family. I still can not believe that he is 4. Today he woke up at 2:45am with a fever. Not a fun way to start out your birthday. However, while cuddled up with him on the couch I looked at the clock at it was 2:54am the time he was born -- 4 years ago. I was just thankful that the Lord reminded me at that moment what time he was born. Giving many thanks for you Ike Man on your very special day. I loved cuddling up with you this morning!
Praying that Jesus will be real to you and that there will not be a time that you do not remember loving our Father. Most importantly that you will always remember how much our Father loves you. I love you my Ike Man!
The first picture is of the "Witt Boys" relaxing after a busy day!
Ike posing for his birthday invitation. This year we had a space theme!
Rocket cake that Brian and I made.

Bat Cave that his Bee Bee gave him for his birthday
As many of you know Zeke is my adventuresome boy. He loves to climb and ride toys as fast as his little legs will enable them to go. He even pushed himself off into the gymnastics pit the other day at my sister's gym. Laughing the whole time! However, he will be 17 months on the 20th and is so determined to crawl or get a toy walker (pushing very fast) to where he wants to go. We finally got him to walk the other day while encouraging him with a bowl of popcorn. He has only done this once. I know that I will be chasing him very soon. However, I wanted to post this fun video of evidence that he can walk --- however, he is choosing to get where he wants to go on his own terms. Ohhhh, I just love this little guy! I pray that he keeps this adventure spirit. I know that our Father is going to use it in a mighty way!

We had so much fun the weekend of the wedding. It was a wonderful reminder of how much our Heavenly Father truly loves us. We are so excited to have another uncle! Brent is such an amazing man and we are truly blessed to have such sweet brothers. My Mom always wanted a boy now she has 4 amazing men and two sweet grandsons! My dad at first always wanted a boy, well God gave him 4 girls and he will tell you he would have it no other way. Now God has given him 4 men to watch football with and 2 grandsons to teach how to play ball. God is Good!

The other day I found Ike in his room playing. When I asked him what are you pretending to be he just sprayed with his "spider web"! I love raising boys!
If for some reason you can not tell. That is his underwear on his head! Oh the imagination of a 3 1/2 year old boy!
Our sweet friends let us borrow their little red rocket. Zeke will not get off of it! We have been using it since August and the boy loves this little red rocket! The only problem is if you get in his way --- Watch out!! He will run over your toes!
So, as you could tell we need another costume for trick or treating since Zeke already out grew his Cowboy outfit. My creative hubby come up with this idea! As you can see our Zeke was Charlie Brown! It was a very easy costume to make! Brian wanted to use marker on his sweet little head ---- I decided to use eye liner pencil. All we did was let him wear Ike's yellow shirt and colored in masking tape with a black sharpie. Put the outfit together with a pair of dark pants ---and as you can see we have Charlie Brown.
Ok, camera was doing something funny while Zeke was laughing at me.
The boys before our Halloween party.
Just a couple of cute boys. I thought afterwards --- (don't we all) -- that I could have made him a very simple Dalmatian puppy outfit. Oh, well if Ike wants to be a Fireman again (since this is his 2nd time in a row) then maybe the Dalmatian outfit will appear next year.
Here is a picture of what he was suppose to be for Halloween. As you can see between his legs, his pants are splitting. I love having big boys!
Zeke loves his teacher Ms. Puri. She told me the other day that she loves "her Zeke". She told me that he "of course" is her favorite little boy!
Ike picking out a pumpkin with his class. He has such a sweet class. He loves his teachers Ms. Becky and Ms. Elsy.
Ike and Cademan. They love saying "Best Buddies" while their picture is being taken.

We had the opportunity to go on a fun beach trip with some sweet friends of ours. Many of you know that Ike has a very close friend that he named Ya Ya (Sydney Kate), we had such a fun time at the beach with the Ervin's. The trip began on Thursday morning with Me, Jenn., Ike, Zeke, and Ya Ya. We took off like two Mom's on a mission. Get 3 kids to the beach without 3 melt downs! We had the car packed to the top including many snacks, toys, and a D.V.D. player. We were on a mission! The trip down went great despite only Zeke taking a very short nap.
The adventure started when Todd decided to catch a crab with his hands. Well, let's just say the crab pinch the stew out of Todd's finger. Todd slung the crab off of his finger which nailed Brian on the side of his face. Both MEN were bleeding and laughing at the same time. Of course right after that, they got in the car to go buy some nets to catch whatever they could find in the ocean. Poor Ike and Ya Ya they thought the nets were for them. But, they got over it really quick when Todd showed them he caught a baby sting ray!
We had such a wonderful time. Ike and Ya Ya got to have their own room. They slept in bunk beds and called their room the Club House. We played most of the time at the pool. Jen. and I let the Dads take over during nap time so we could go spend some much needed Mom Time at the pool.
Ike loved the water. He kept saying "Mom I am going to dive under like Michael Phelps. Unfortunately, he kept wanting to go under in the ocean which ended in him spitting out quiet a bit of salt water. Zeke loved the ocean and pool. He is such a water baby! The top picture is of him laughing when the waves would come in.
We were a little sad when we had to end the trip due to Hurricane Gustav--- which ended in a 8 hour drive home however, it did give us an extra day to get some things done around the house and take long naps. This was one of our favorite family vacations that we have had. Thank you again Todd, Jen, and Ya Ya!
