Birthday Party

We had so much fun at Ike's birthday part. We actually celebrated it on Brian's birthday! Love having both guys birthday's so close together. Here are so fun shots of the night. I wish I had my camera out a little longer. As you can tell we had a Spiderman party! Each year Ike picks out what he wants for a cake. I show him some pictures of different cakes and he gets to choose what he wants. Well, this year was a bit of a challenge however, was really fun to make. The head of Spiderman is actually a wig head! The only time consuming part was all the webbing! After making the cake it dawned on me how in the world am I going to get this to the party. Let's just say it took both Brian and I lap (while B. was driving) to get the cake to the party. Quiet the adventure!!!!

I will explain more very soon! Plus I have to post some really cute pictures of my 2 favorite boys!

Fun Times

I have realized that I am a horrible blogger! I do not keep up with this even when I take the time to read other blogs. I think, I'll wait until after vacation comes then I will have something to blog. Then vacation comes and goes, then I think well I'll wait until after Labor day and the first day of school. Well, that has come and gone as well. Then I think ummm, I'll wait until after Ike's first Alabama football game. Yep, you have guessed it that is over as well. So, to make this blog short I am going to post some pictures of our WONDERFUL vacation to Hilton Head with my family. We really did have the best vacation. God has truly blessed us with amazing parents, sisters, and brothers. When we got home from HH school started that Monday. Ike and Zeke are loving their class. I am loving being with all the teachers helping them develop their lesson plans and overseeing the curriculum. We were only home for 4 days then headed back out to North Carolina to visit Bee - Bee. While we were there we went to a Amish Festival. Loved watching the children. I still am amazed how simply they live. The boys got to go on a buggy ride while eating homemade ice cream. We also drove to VA to visit MeeMaw,Aunt Glenna, Uncle Jigs, and Tammy.
This past weekend Ike and Brian got a wonderful gift from a friend of ours. Tickets to the UA game!!! Roll Tide! We are truly blessed!! As a family we take ALOT of pictures. Click on the boxes below to see our Hilton Head pictures. The second box are pictures of our time spent with BeeBee. I hope you enjoy!

Zeke's Birthday at the lake

Saturday we went to the lake with our family. My Gurney,Grandmother, parents, Aunt Gina, Uncle Charlie, all the cousins, brothers, and sisters celebrated with us. Talk about a good time!!!! It never fails when we get together there will be lots of food and lots of laughter!
Zeke has discovered how much fun it is to "drive" the boat this summer. For his birthday cake I attempted to make a ski boat. He loved it! We had to sing twice to the little guy because he loved blowing out the candle or was it that he loved everyone singing to him? We had so much fun spending time together while playing on the water, watching the cousins play in the baby pool (Thanks Lacey), shooting water guns, playing with the new firetruck (thanks Lacey,Zach,Aunt Gina and Uncle Charlie), playing in the sprinkler (Thanks, Jo Jo and Brent) and I am going to have to post some pictures of the cutest shirt that my cousins monogrammed for Zeke (thanks Courtney and Lacey). Brian even discovered his new favorite game Corn Hole! My cousin Angie is an amazing photographer. She took some fun pictures of our day. She tried with her 4 subjects to get some shots. Even when having shoes thrown at her! Thanks, Angie for taking the time to capture this amazing day! We love you and your crew so much! We are so grateful that we ALL got to spend the day together! It was the perfect day! God truly blessed us again!
